China Summary
In the historical documentary video Engineering an Empire: China, on the history channel, it explored the Rise, Steady, and Decline of China. The Rise of the empire first began when a 13 year old named Ying Chang took over the empire. Ying Chang wanted a strong army to take over land and take over China and he did just that. The Steady began when they took over the empire of Chew and had a steady life of no fighting. He then changed his name to Shi Haudi. The decline began when he let his power get to him. He started to demand everything and whoever disagreed was vanished. This is how the Great Wall was made with many starving slaves. I thought the video was very informational and interesting. I am still curious about how did China have such a large population if so many people died making the wall.
